About Our Founder

Some say proclivities is a strange word for a brand. We think it is the perfect word to convey what our brand encompasses. Everyone has proclivities.

Andrea Pandazi Psaras, the founder of Proclivities was born and raised in Milwaukee. From as early as she can remember, plants, gardens and flowers were a part of daily life. Learning best practices of what to choose, how to plant, how to design and why these decisions are important have always been a part of her life.

As a second generation Greek American, family and life itself has embodied a spirit of gathering, nurturing, and sharing. The Greeks have a word that embodies these characteristics. It is “philotimo”. There is no direct English translation. However, sharing hospitality comes close to what is meant by this wonderful way of life.

Bringing all these together, are some of Andrea’s most cherished proclivities. It is with the desire to share her commitment to excellence and memorable experiences for her clients and their guests that Andrea founded Proclivities.
